ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear colleagues!
In January 2020, there was the Centennial of outstanding mathematician, expert in Approximation Theory, Professor M. P. Korneichuk (1920–2003). On this occasion Institute of Mathematics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Giessen University (Germany) are organizing the International Scientific Conference “APPROXIMATION THEORY AND ITS APPLICATIONS” that will be held in Dnipro, Ukraine, on September 16–19, 2020.
The conference will be held at the Palace of Students of Dnipro National University, located in the picturesque park on the bank of the Dnipro river. The program includes 30- and 15-minutes talks and posters. Working languages of the conference are Ukrainian, English.
Topics of the conference (sections):
- Approximation Theory of univariate and multivariate functions;
- Equations of Mathematical Physics and Optimization Theory;
- Harmonic Analysis;
- Theory of Optimal Algorithms.
The preliminary amount of registration fee is 400 UAH (to be specified). The registration fee is to be paid at the time of registration.
Book of abstracts is planned to be published before the opening of the conference.
The deadline for registration and abstracts submission is the 30th of August 2020.
